I think morbidity is actually the best option because morbidity has to do with the body's health state. If one is unhealthly, one shall have difficult carrying out basic task including reproduction and migration. Take for example as animals leave any sick companion behind knowing it's a wasted effort that may cause them to be endangered if they try to take it along.
