Western Highlands:
(a) Relief and drainage: Western highland lies between 300-600m. its hottest summit is Idanre Hill. It serves as source for rivers flowing south and north e.g Osun, Ogun, Ose
(b) Agriculture; Agriculture is mainly subsistence; the region a)so produces grains e.g maize, rice, and root crops like yams, cassava etc. Plantation agriculture is also practised, such as cocoa, kolanut, palm produce and livestock farming
(c) Problems of development
(i) Seasonal water supply
(ii) Presence of pests and diseases
(iii) Problems of erosion
(iv) Problems of floods
