(iv) Presence of good network of routes
(b) Lumbering in the high forest belts:
(i) Presence of suitable climatic conditions-high rainfall throughout the year
(ii) Presence of forest trees
(iii) Presence of varieties of species
(iv) Presence of hardwood for construction purposes
(c) Rice in middle belt;
(i) Presence of large expanse of land due to low population
(ii) Presence of adequate climatic conditions, e.g rainfall of over 125cm
(iii) Abundance of swampy areas along river valley
(iv) Absence of export crops.
