(c) Relationship between the rainfall and vegetation in the Savanna include:
(i) Rainfall decreases from the Guine2 Savanna towards the Northern limit
(ii) Rainfall duration is longer in the Guinea Savanna than the Sahel Savanna
(iii) Little rainfall of between 20cm - 7cm in the Sahel leads to stunted growth of trees
(iv) Arrival of rainfall marks the beginning of the grasses in the savanna.
