(i) G- aeration of Hydro-Electric Power (HEP) i.e electricity
(ii) It also serves as a means of transportation
(iii) It provides water for irrigation of farmlands
(iv) It provides employment to some people
(v) Fishing is also carried out in the river
(v) It also provides water for domestic and industrial purposes.
