(ii) Road transportation makes goods which are produced elsewhere available to other parts of the country
(ii) Transportation makes for regional specialisation in production. If goods are not moved, each region will produce less
(iii) Road development helps to reduce waste from over production e.g transportation of food from rural areas to urban centres
(iv) Construction of roads can also help in the development of large towns and cities
(v) It helps in national defense as troops can easily be moved by road to places where they are needed
(vi) it strengthens national unity as people from different parts of Ghana easily interact with one another.
