Two functions f and g are defined by \(f : x \to 3x - 1\) and \(g : x \to 2x^{3}\), evaluate \(fg(-2)\).
\(g : x \to 2x^{3}\)
\(g(-2) = 2(-2^{3}) = 2(-8) = -16\)
\(f : x \to 3x - 1\)
\(f(-16) = 3(-16) -1 = -48 - 1 = - 49\)
