This question is based on Kabir Garba's The Lekki Headmaster.
What was the essence of open days at Stardom Schools?
For the management of Stardom Schools, Open Days served as an important opportunity to update parents on academic activities. It was a day intended for staff to have personal encounters with parents, which the school encouraged and sometimes compelled. While it was a time for parents to give gifts to specific staff , it was also a day when teachers expected to receive various complaints from parents. This can be found on page 27 of the novel.
