She says:
• “The school’s purse must be leaking.”
• “How safe is our money?”
• She suspects the teachers are getting money illegally to buy cars.
So the correct answer is:
A. She believes they are using stolen school funds.
Her fear was that staff members were stealing school money to buy those cars — not that they were becoming independent or that she wanted to praise them.

MY SCHOOL i think th correct answer is A cos she even called the vice principal and the accountant to ask if the school's purse is not leaking so please i think the answer should be A

If the question asked why she calledd the accountant and Mr Bepo , the answer would have been A.
BUT the question is why she called an emergency (Board of Directors) meeting AFTER discovering .. .
Like @B.B said , on page 27 of the book it is clerly written that she was not willing to take any chances i.e chances of the teachers rebelling and jointly establishing their own school(which is only possible if they have enough funds/ are FINANACIALLY INDEPENDENT) .
Therefore, option D is the correct answer to THIS question.

The answer is A . In page 25 it was narrated that the md thought the school's purse was leaking. This was her own fear while the fear of the teachers beign independent was chief bayo fear in page 26.

I think the answer is D, in page 27 the MD Called a meeting of board of directors the following day and the question states why the MD called an emergency meeting
