I don't have the same belief as you all. I feel like for it to be an adverbial phrase, it must either show degree, reason, manner, or time – and I don't think that phrase shows any of the functions of an adverbial phrase.
Also, ADJECTIVAL PHRASE usually describes a pronoun or a noun. This phrase is not describing anything based on my own understanding. It could be describing the day or event.
