The word **mundane** means something that is ordinary or dull, often related to everyday tasks.

The option opposite in meaning would be:

A. **great**

"Great" implies something significant or extraordinary, which is the opposite of "mundane." The other options (lowly, menial, moderate) are either synonyms or close in meaning to "mundane."
