d correct answer is d,if u say its 'A' dat means d sentence shud have a continuation xo with dis d correct answer is d which is (IS)

i dont think the sentence was continious
....there was some kind of pause before ..
the mention of the speakers name. the answer i think should be A . even when you try sayin it as a spoken english...d doesnt really make sence in this context

Please this is wrong A is the correct answer if you suggest D is the answer try placing it in the question context and you would see that it sounds incomplete

The choice between option 1 (Who is) and option 4 (Is) depends on the sentence structure:
Use "Who is" when describing a person with a dependent clause
In this case, "who is" introduces a dependent clause providing more information about Dr. Oni.
Use "Is" when making a direct statement
If the sentence were simply stating a fact about Dr. Oni without the descriptive clause, "is" would be the correct choice.
In this specific sentence, "who is" is the correct choice because it introduces a dependent clause describing Dr. Oni.
Here's a revised sentence with a direct statement using "is":
Dr. Oni is a resident doctor at the teaching hospital.
In this sentence, "is" is used to make a direct statement about Dr. Oni's role.
To fit the original sentence structure, you could rephrase it as:
Ladies and gentlemen, our guest speaker, Dr. Oni, is a resident doctor at the teaching hospital.
This sentence uses "is" to make a direct statement about Dr. Oni's role, rather than introducing a dependent clause with "who is".
