the option nearly opposite in meaning should be valuable and not worthless because the opposite of invaluable is valuable

Opposite of invaluable is valueless or worthless, invaluable is same as valuable

The answer is correct.... Invaluable means something that is priceless, something that cannot be dispensable

i think you guys made a spelling error the question should have been "valuable" not " invaluable"

Opposite of invaluable is not valuable, yes they are similar yet distinct (just a little 🤏🏾) , lemme explain...
Valuable refers to something having significant worth, importance, or usefulness.
Invaluable means extremely valuable or priceless, often to the point where the value cannot be measured or quantified.
In essence, all invaluable things are valuable, but not all valuable things are necessarily invaluable.

when something is valuable it is important. So, the opposite of valuable is invaluable synonym: worthless

The answer is wrong ,invaluable also means something that is worthless. And the question is to choose opposite in meaning not the nearest in meaning .

Myschool is correct. INVALUABLE means the thing has worth (priceless). It's the same as valuable. So the opposite is worthless
