Myschool kudos, you're doing a great job but this question can't be over emphasized.
Lend' means to give something to someone to be used for a period of time and then returned. 'Borrow' means to take and use something that belongs to someone else for a period of time and then return it.
The answer is borrow
Lend-to give out
Borrow -to collect from someone else

why is no one saying the actual answer now
this comment section is meant for correction please what is the correct answer is it lend or borrow

lend is correct sha
from the sentence "please.........me yours" you are actually in position of the person. let's see it like this "please lend me yours" the person's response would be "yes I will lend you" borrow does not fit in because the person can't borrow but you borrow from the person

Lend is used when something is given out while borrow is used when something is taken in e.g. Please, lend me your pen. And please, I want to borrow your pen. Or I will lend you my pen and you can borrow my pen. Please, change that answer if not for exam sake then for grammar sake

The question has been reviewed and correction has been made. Thanks for your contributions.
