There is actually such thing as borrow and lend and as loveskid as rightly said, to lend means to give while to borrow means to receive e.g
I lend her my pen which means i gave her my pen
Tolu borrowed my ruler which means tolu received my ruler
Can i borrow ur pen pls = can i receive you pen pls
please lend me your book = pls give me ur book
And looking at loan, it comes with interest so loan is out of it the correct ans is LEND
Definately the answer is A. Eg: i cant lend him any thing of mine again becaus he does not pay back.

Take for example d sentence.I can lend you my pen if u're willing to borrow it.

the person dat give someone money is lend nd da person dat collected it is lend

Lend is correct
Lend meabs to give out
while borrow means to receive
for eg Can you lend me your pen (ie it's asking for you to give your pen to him/her
Can I borrow your pen (ie he's asking if you will give him/her your pen

The correct verb there is lend because to lend is to give, while to borrow is to receive
Example: I lent him my pen last night
I borrowed the pen from him

option A is correct because u are the lender(the owner of the money) and he is the borrower.

both loan and lend can be used as verbs according to the latest edition of oxford dictionary.
