D is supposed to be the right option. While Notorious Means To Be Popular or well known For A Bad Thing, Renowned Means To Be purpular or well known on For A Good Thing.

In my own point of view the answer should be C or A

The correct answer is A. "Notorious" means famous or well-known for a bad or undesirable reason, while "popular" means well-liked or approved of by the majority. The other options are synonyms of "well-known" or "renowned," which share the meaning of being famous or widely known, but they do not share the negative connotations of "notorious." So, "popular" is the correct opposite of "notorious." 😊
