Yes,B is correct because some words has no singular or plural like furniture,equipment, news,Linguistics,Mathematics,scissors to mention but a few.

YES! B is CORRECT!! because furniture and equipment are uncountable noun and they have no plural or singular form.Thus,we cannot add "s" to them.As you can see "s" is added to furniture and equipment in the other option A,C,D and E .

The contributions that Signor Ismaheel Ayandokun said in the first sentence was wrong because furniture and equipment were countable nouns not an uncountable noun.It only has an exception to the rule.
