Chic and chimera sounds 'sh' so there is no way chic can be the answer while chimera is left standing.

The word 'choose' has the consonant /ts/ as in chew and the word chic has /s/ as in shoe, so it's either the options are wrongly placed or the question is just wrong

The correct answer is B which is BATCH.
Because it has the same consonant sound with CHOOSE, not CHIC❌❌❌
