The answer is chosen is wrong,my school take note,it should be C,because it means something that is impossible to understand

The selected answer is wrong:
The word chosen as the best for the blank space is WRONG in the sense that it was asked that the students were unable to understand the lecture delivered. the best and the right answer to the question is "INDEFINITE"
REF: LONGMAN DICTIONARY OF CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH, Pg 826
indefinite 2

The correct answer is:
**C. unintelligible**
The sentence should read: "His lecture was **unintelligible** and so the students did not understand it."
"Unintelligible" means that something is impossible to understand, which fits the context of the sentence.

The correct answer is: C. unintelligible
Explanation:
Unintelligible means impossible to understand, which fits the sentence: “His lecture was unintelligible, and so the students did not understand it.”
The other options don't fit as well:
Indefinite means vague or not clearly defined, but doesn’t directly imply lack of understanding.
Illegible refers to handwriting or print that is hard to read, not speech.
Unimpressive means not impressive, but doesn’t necessarily mean it’s hard to understand.
Would you like more practice like this?

Because what he was lecturing them doesn't have a specified limit/vague so the student did not understand it.(A)
