it's either " Fortunately fell through" or " unfortunately fell off"

The correct answer is fell under dat is to say that his plans was unsuccessful, coz the sentence says unfortunately nt fortunately which if dat is d case it would've been fell through. SO D CORRECT ANSWER IS C. Check d meaning of under in dictionary it also means ruin though it normally goes with went. Went under
