postponed is the right answer because of the indefinitely there and adjournment is used when you want to postpone a meeting for a short period of time but postponement can either be for an indefinite time or a short period of time and the instruction says "best completes". They are synonymous as they both pass the same message but one can be used when it invoves a long period of time while the other is used when talking about a short period of time.

postpone is used before the event ( in this case a meeting )
while adjournment is used after the event has started.
The correct answer is postpone because the word reconvened means the meeting hasn't been held.
Hope i made sense....

The selected answer is wrong:
Adjourned and postponed are synonymous and are both fit for the option...I dnt see why postponed has to be the asnwer. Besides I would go for 'concluded' because of d word indefinitely that is present in the sentence.......#justSaying
