@Myschool, the answer is C, here are my reasons

You don't only train a voice to become a choirmaster but, you can train your mind only to become an intellect.

You can train your voice to be good and phonetics too. making B invalid. The right answer is C βœ”οΈ

The answer is supposed to reflect the question, isn't it? You train your body to be an athlete. The body is physical and the mind is not. Those are the two of the phases in which man exists. Not all choirmasters can sing and who in the world trains their courage? Swimming and football fall under athletics too so let's look at this again.

The correct answer is:

**C. mind - scholar**

This follows the pattern that training a specific part of yourself (mind) is necessary to become proficient in a certain role (scholar), just as training your body is necessary to become an athlete.

The answer is obviously B. Your body is the most important thing you need to be an athlete while your voice is the most important thing you need to be a choirmaster. They're emphasizing directly on which part of the body you need to become exceptional in that particular field or profession?
As for C, mind is not the only thing you need to be a scholar. And it's kinda indirect. Here, you can clearly see that they are talking about profession.

The correct answer is:

C. mind/scholar

The analogy is that just as an athlete requires physical training, a scholar requires mental training. Unless you train your mind, you cannot be a scholar.

This answer choice emphasizes the importance of intellectual development and education in becoming a scholar.

The analogy is comparing physical training for athletes to mental training for scholars. Just as athletes need to train their bodies, scholars need to train their minds.
