The answer is A which is adVERTtisement because tise and ment are suffixes and affixes (suffixes and affixes )are not stressed so if you pronounce the word adVERT you would notice that the VERT is much louder.

The rule of polysyllabic that the words that end with Thy,Ogy,ment, should be stress on the 2nd syllable from the front and 3rd syllable from the back.
The answer is :adVERtisment

Please everyone ,
i think the correct
answer here is option
D
.
NOTE Everything has rule. Don't pronounce words with your mouth to get the stress
because every tribe has there way of pronucing there word .
NB. To stress advertisement, you must return the word to it smallest possible form(base word) then you can now find the stress

The base word for advertisement is
advert
Then stress advert.→ AD-vert
so advertisement is pronounced as
AD-ver-tise-ment

option D is very correct.
Go to your invisible teacher
page 142 Law 24 and confirm . thanks you

The selected answer is wrong:
what they taught me is that any word ending with ment is the syllable before the ment

d answer is wrong d sreess supposed to be in ADvertisement because d rule states dat;wen we find MENT in a word we should go for d main word or base word which is ADVERT so u can pronounce it like dat nd get ur answer u can also use yoruba sign to it RE;DO;MI;d answer ll go to where dere is MI;so pronounce it nd get ur final ansa

Any word end with ment is the syllabus before the "ment"here the answer is adverTISEment
