The correct answer is (B).According to Oxford Dictionary, want ie.as a noun, can be defined as a state of being poor.

I think the answer should be option D. the slum because it means to leave in poverty or doing something poorly so please correct the answer

But wants are not necessary in daily living they are luxurys, i don't think anyone without a want is considered poor
