For me the ans is D coz destroy appeared in all other option y spare appeared in D which makes it different from others
The answer is C cos d stressed word is MANY. So wat u need 2 do is 2 look 4 an option dat has d same sentence but nt having d word MANY in it.

The right answer is C, because in an emphatic stress it is in question form in which the answer should be inform of question to the asked question and also the stated emphatic stress on a word change,. e.g the fire destroyed MANY life
the answer to this is Did the fire destroyed any life and the answer to the question is the fire destroyed many lives. by changing the emphatic word many to any.
