MySchool school please more clarification is needed as to why option A) is the correct answer, as option B) seems to be the logical choice, as there is only one Kid in question, thanks.

The correct answer is B.
Much is too to modify nouns adverbs and adjectives

When “too” comes before much I.e too much it modifies a noun
Eg she ate too much food yesterday
But when “too” comes after much I.e much too
It modifies an adverb or adjective e.g the baby was rather much too troublesome
They are much too greedy to ask for more.
