When you say “I have met him” (Present Perfect Tense), you have meeting with that person in the near past, and your meeting with the person continues in the present. When you say “I had met him” (Past Perfect Tense), you mean that you met the person when you were somewhere, and it's a thing of past

Please my school, the correct option is "Had met -A ".because the rule says that when "after" or "before " is used, then it's "Had + past participle form of the verb .
