are you guys kidding me now? With the kind of answers im beginning to see, it is turning me off my trust and recommendations of ‘MySchool’...
for God sake, if Public ownershi is “Socialism”, what then is “government ownership”...
i saw someone mentioning private. both private/individual is the Same as Capitalist. the question you should now ask yourself is who makes up the public if not “individuals privately”...

So, the most appropriate answer is socialism - which is actually government ownership of means of production, but the idea behind socialism is that the government is taking control of productive factors as a proxy for the public.
The government is supposed to allocate the resources to the people equally. Recall, communism is meant to come after socialism
