(ii) It arouses the interest of the consumers in a particular product.

(iv) It affords the producer the opportunity of explaining the use and features of a product.
v. Mass media gain through increase in their revenue from advertisers.
(vi) It encourages healthy competition among firms which leads to increase in quality of goods and services.
(vii) Advertising leads to mass production as a result of increase in demand.
(viii) It creates awareness about the existence of a new product.
