Mattew 26:64-65
Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."
Then the high priest tore his robes, and said, "He has uttered blasphemy. Why do we still need witnesses? You have now heard his blasphemy.
Destroying the temple was actually mentioned before now, but the immediate action that necessited the conviction of Jesus is the statement Jesus made in verse 64.. " You'll see the son of Man seated on the right hand of God" and this statement of Jesus here was regraded as "A BLASPHEMY" in verse 64. Look at the last statement in verse 65 when it was said.. "You have now heard his blasphemy"
