Taking up the cross daily(Luke 9:23)is a clear condition
But just knowing scripture is not enough.Even the pharisee's knew the scripures
but still opposed jesus and his teachings

Myschool don't mislead people. All the options are necessary for being a good disciple, but a new disciple does not need to have good knowledge of the scriptures before he can be converted.
