this question was asked wrongly, to some extent it is confusing. Now the kingdom of Israel was divided into 2, Israel and Judah. So in my opinion, the right way to put the question should be " who was the king of Judah, or who was the king of Israel after it division into the northern and southern part". Rehoboam son of Solomon was still the king of Israel after it division, while Jeroboam was the king of Judah.
