The Apostle Paul's life in Acts exemplifies God's sovereignty through his transformation from a persecutor to a proclaimer of the Gospel. Before his conversion, Paul (then known as Saul) was a zealous persecutor of Christians. However, after his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, he became one of the most fervent proclaimers of the Gospel (Acts 9:1-22).
