I think both C and D are correct technically:
Pekahiah: 2 Kings 15:23-25 describes how Pekahiah became king after his father Pekah, but doesn't mention him killing anyone. However, Pekahiah himself was assassinated by Shallum (as mentioned earlier).
Hoshea: 2 Kings 17:1-4 details how Hoshea became king by overthrowing Pekah, not through assassination. However, the passage later mentions Hoshea being captured by the Assyrians, not assassinated by his successor.
