THE ANSWERS I HAVE BEEN SEEING ACROSS THE INTERNET IS WRONG. The correct option is not "B"[punishment]. The correct answer is "A" [happiness] and i will prove it.
According to Amos 5 vs 18, "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light."
To Amos, it appears that the Israelites were longing for the Day of the Lord, meaning (they thought) the day is a day of happiness, light and good happenings. So Amos says you all should not be actively seeking the Day of the Lord, because it won’t be what you think it will be, and you won’t be on the side of it that you think you will be.
The question is really tactical, you miss it if you don't understand the background story. Thanks.
