Still remember this question when I was being thought chemical changes could remember 2Mg reacts with + Oxygen in air to give white ashes of magnesium oxide which increase in size

Magnesium has an increase in mass due to its reaction with atmospheric oxygen to form MgO, which clearly has a greater molecular mass, and hence a greater mass.
Helium increases in volume being a gas, but remains constant in mass because its molecules do not actually increase, but rather, density reduces to counter the effect of increased volume.
Copper pyrites and glass will probably just melt and will need some extra effort (source of energy) to react in air.
