The size (diameter) of five elements are in the order R < T < W < X < Y, Y being the largest. If each atom has an electron situated on its circumference, and neglecting other factors, which of the atoms will lose its electron most reluctantly?

D larger d atom d less d farther d distance from d nucleous and cus of dat d screening effect decreases dats d attraction of valence electron by d nucleous decreases and makes it eager to lose electron xo R having d least diametre will be reluctant to lose electron cus its too near to d nucleous. tank me later

The trick lies in the meaning of reluctant, it means unwilling so the smallest R would loose electrons eventually but it's the most unwilling to do so cos of it's force of attraction is big.

this is an enlish trick question ❓ the meaning of reluctance is unwillingness or aversion
