okay here is how to solve it. without calculator.
the ph scale is from 1 to 14. the lowest numbers signifies its an acid the highest signifies its a base.
the formular is PH +POH=14

basically to find the ph of an acid you count the decimals e.g if its 0.001 the ph is 3 , if its 0.01 the ph is 2. that supposed to be the answer but we have a base (KOH) so we will minus it 14-3 = 11

if it was an acid e.g find the ph of 0.001 HNo3 it would have been 3

so first find the ph of an acid using the decimals. of its an acid leave the answer like that. of its a base minus it from the ph scale number (14) . do you understanding?
