Benzene formed nitrobenzene at temperature of 60\(^0\)C when it reacts with mixture of concentrated trioxonitrate(V) acid and concentrated
Benzene reacts with a mixture of concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulphuric acid to form nitrobenzene at a temperature not exceeding 60°C. The reaction is known as the nitration of benzene.
