The explanation given was not sufficent. Taking about Trioxocarbonate(CaCO3). It is not a gas. The question says, a gas turns lime water milky. That gas is Carbon(iv) oxide. Remember that lime water is a solution of Calcuim hydroxide Ca(OH)2. The calcuim carbonate (CaCO3 is insoluble in water, appearing as a milky precipitate. CaCO3 is not a gas that turns lime water milky. It appears as a milky precipitate
