The option picked here very wrong... heinously wrong!

any rod is never a suitable choice..

it's better if Ag rod in this context is picked instead...

any rod could lead to contamination and disturbance of the system...
what if the rod picked is Pt which doesn't dissolve to replace the discharged Ag+ ions or what if non Ag rod was picked, releases its ions and contaminates the whole process....

please try to review... option a is very much correct!
