The answer is wrong
chlorine gas is produced at the anode
hydrogen gas is produced at the cathode
while sodium ions and hydroxide ions are left in the solution.
The correct answer is C

electrolysis of dilute NaCl at the cathode-hydrogen
anode-oxygen
electrolyte becomes more acidic

electrolysis of concentrated NaCl at the cathode-hydrogen
anode-chlorine
electrolyte becomes more alkaline

electrolysis of molten NaCl would give cathode-sodium
anode-chlorine
electrolyte remains unchanged

B is correct cause anode is positive and oxygen is negative so oxygen go to anode and the same( but opposite charge) is seen in hydrogen and cathode
