Thank God say ..I pick b.. already wanted to pic A... buh it's wrong...a gas to gas can never be ionic... remember hydrogen is gas... it's only a metal which carries the + combines with the negative - which will be a non metal...that is na,k,Ca,are not gas so therefore they are metal...while,H,O,Cl,are gas and also non metal🙂... HCl is actually a polar covalent compound

Bug Generally sha, ionic bonds are much stronger than covalent bonds.hmm🤔... In ionic bonds, there is complete transfer of electrons between elements to form a stable compound. While in covalent bond, there is only sharing of electrons between two elements to form a stable compound

i don't understand
the electronegative difference between H and Na is not up to 1.6 so how is it ionic . the electronegative difference is 1.2 and H and Na both have positive ions . ionic compounds is between elements of different ionic charge so what going on

HCl is also ionic

Hydrogen ion is H+ while chlorine is Cl- which makes HCl an ionic compound
Sodium is Na+ like wise H+ there is no presence of negative ion o make it an ionic compound

HCl (hydrochloric acid) is a covalent compound, while NaH (hydrogen hydride) is an ionic compound.
HCl is formed when hydrogen (H) and chlorine (Cl) combine, resulting in a covalent bond due to the nonmetal nature of both elements.
3
NaH is created when sodium (Na) donates an electron to hydrogen (H), forming an ionic bond between sodium and hydrogen.

Thus, the correct answer is that HCl is covalent and NaH is ionic.

So therefore A and C form a covalent bonding...hence,they have strong bonding 🙂
