Hydrolysis is a reverse of a neutralization reaction; that is to say, if a neutralization reaction is a reaction between acid and base to produce salt and water, hydrolysis iss simply the reaction between salt and water to produce acid orbase.

water is acid and nacl is salt
so option B anc D is out of it as everybody knows what sublimation means then we have option A and C left for hydrolysis which is the break down of water so option C is the answer

I think the admin of myschool should address the question above because its absolutely incorrect
the reaction of an acid and a base combined together will yield salt and water
while hydrolysis, simly put, is the break down of water molecules
