the simplest way to solve this kind of question is by adding 18 to the the atomic number of the given element. If you can't find it in the option, add another 18 and keep doing so untill you see the answer U got in the option provided.

An element with atomic number 17 is chlorine (Cl). Elements in the same group (Group 17, the halogens) have similar chemical properties.
Atomic number 33 β Arsenic (As) (Group 15, not similar)
Atomic number 35 β Bromine (Br) (Group 17, same group as chlorine, similar properties)
Atomic number 18 β Argon (Ar) (Noble gas, not similar)
Atomic number 19 β Potassium (K) (Alkali metal, not similar)
Since bromine (atomic number 35) is in the same group as chlorine, the correct answer is:
B) 35

All this stuff y'all r saying is not relevant..... it is 35 because the element with the atomic number is bromine and it belongs to the same group as chlorine which has atomic number 17 as given in the question

An element having that atomic number 17 will resemble which of the following element having atomic number as given below ?

The answer should be A(33) because 33 is a halogen not 34. Idk why yβall confuse students and chose wrong answers at all when so many trust the website. Please change and correct this, thanks
