solute = 20g
solvent = 180g
solution = solute+solvent
solution => 20+ 180=200
concentration of a solution just means the amount of solute per a certain amount of the solution

i.e solute/solution= concentration
in this case; 20/200 = 1/10. this means there's 1g of the solute per 10g of the solution

change the 1/10 to percentage by multiplying it by 100. 1/10*100 =10%

Solution= solvent + solute
:. Concentration of solution by mass percentage = 180+20 =200

Solute/solution×100
= 20/200×100
