Initial volume,V1= V
Initial pressure,P1= 3P
P2= ?
V2= 2V
Applying Boyle's law at constant temperature;
P1V1= P2V2
Therefore, P2= P1V1/V2 = 3P×V/2V= 3P/2

for number 29 waec chemistry 2020 i feel it was a typographical error for the value of the initial pressure which was written there 3.P instead of just 3P so the answer will be using P1V1=P2V2 then written in option c was fraction32P instead of 3P/2
