KAL(SO4)2>>>K+ Al3+ SO4^2-
Therefore, it has just 2 Cation nd One Anion.
Note: Cation is Positive why Anion is Negative. Myschool is Right. Option D ✓

potassium aluminium tetraoxosulphate (VI) = K(ALSO4)2

after reaction its oxidizes to give SO4+2-=

Note that cations are postive and anions are negative

I really agree with 2 being the correct answer due to the presence of 2 cations which are k and Al the one anion which is so4
I hope we haven't forgotten that cations are positive and anions are negative so yes my school is actually correct. if you want to prove you're right bring forth your strong points or reason to prove why the answer is A or another option thanks guys😊😊

Option D is the correct answer..

Potassium aluminum tetraoxosulphate (vi) is a double salt.
Remember that, double salts dissociates to give 2 cations and 1 anions

k has 1 cation +aluminion has 3 cations =4
SO4 has -2 anion

4+-2=2

KAl(SO4) ---> K^+ + Al3^+ + 2SO4^2-
From the desociation equation.
2 cations are produced
(1 from k+ and 1 from Al+)
2 anions are produced from 2SO4^2-
Total of 4 ions

Option D is the correct answer, Cations are positive ions ( I. e k+ Al^3+) den Anions are negative ions in suction.

Option A is correct. Don't you know that hydrogen ions from water will be produce alongside with potassium ions and aluminium ions? Please change it OPTION A IS CORRECT

Option D is wrong
