Understanding a question matters alot. This question clearly stated “Remove Ammonia" and not “Dry Ammonia". CaO is used to dry Ammonia yes, but the question says ‘remove'. So the best option there is Conc H2SO4.

H2SO4 reacts with ammonia to form a fertilizer, calcium chloride and phosphorus(v)oxide react with ammonia too so the answer is not even there, although i think one of those calcium chloride options should be replaced with calcium oxide which doesn't react with ammonia, hence it can be used to dry it

H2SO4 dries up all gases except NH3 and H2S
CaCl2 dries up all gases except NH3
P4O16 dries up all gases except NH3
Only CaO dries ammonia
so that makes C correct 


This is wrong H2SO4 reacts with ammonia. The most suitable substance for drying ammonia is slaked lime CaO
