M=2g
V=100cm³/1000=0.1dm³
C=n/v
M.m=40g/mol.
n=mass in g/m.m in g/mol
n=2/40=1/20=0.05mol
C=0.05/0.1=0.50mol/dm³

xg---1000cm
By cross multiplying we have,
2*1000=100x
2000=100x
make x the subject of the formula,we have
X=2000/100
x=20g/dm3

concentration in g/dm3=molarity x molar mass
where conc.in g/dm3=20
molar mass of NaOH=40
molarity=?
therefore
20=molarity x 40
molarity=20/40
molarity=0.5mol/dm3
